The Hollywood Reporter gets with the reporting by informing us of "Failure to Launch," an upcoming romantic comedy from Paramount. The blue-eyed Zooey Deschanel ("Mumford," "Almost Famous") will join Matthew McConaughey ("Sahara," "A Time to Kill") and Sarah Jessica Parker ("Miami Rhapsody," "Footloose") for the comedy, which focuses on "a thirtysomething guy whose parents are desperate to get him to move out. When he finally meets the girl of his dreams, he grows suspicious that his conniving parents might have had a hand in the matter." Sitcom scribe partners Tom J. Astle and Matt Ember supplied the script (their debut in features), and sitting in the director’s chair will be Tom Dey ("Showtime," "Shanghai Noon").
