Isn’t it hilarious how "Fockers" sounds so much like a rrrrreally dirty word? So funny, in fact, that the gag is about to inspire its second film! Expect the whole silly gang to return for a movie called (wait for it) "Little Fockers." (LOL!!!!)
Seems that director Jay Roach will be back at the helm, and Universal aims to bring the whole cast back for more: Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand…
Matter of fact, the only person who doesn’t seem to be returning is screenwriter John Hamburg. Taking his place will be Larry Stuckey, a first-time screenwriter who actually used to be Jay Roach’s assistant. Yep, it’s like that. Kinda like when Mel Gibson’s former hair stylist directed "Paparazzi."
For those who might be wondering why we "need" another movie to follow "Meet the Parents" and "Meet the Fockers," I offer the following number: $850 million. That’s about what both movies did in combined global box office.
