Max von Sydow,
Emily Mortimer,
and Jackie
Earle Haley are rounding out the cast. Yeah,
Shutter Island
has this slight chance of being totally awesome.
DiCaprio and Ruffalo star as two U.S. marshals
investigating a patient’s disappearance from an insane asylum. Deception, a
hurricane, and an inmate riot are what they get instead.
Production on the 1954-set mystery drama starts on March 6,
with Paramount Vantage aiming for an October 2, 2009 release date.
