The Academy Awards for Science and Tech Innovators

The Academy Awards for motion picture sciences were awarded Sunday night, with special citations for Panavision design engineer Takuo Miyagishima, and an Award of Commendation for Arthur Widmer, a longtime f/x guru at Warner and Universal and a pioneer in bluescreen compositing.
