Just like you can’t judge a book by its cover, you really can’t judge a movie by its German teaser trailer. And that’s a good thing, because the first promo piece for "Hannibal Rising" is pretty darn goofy.

"This is the story of the monster Hannibal Lecter’s formative years. These experiences as a child and young adult led to his remarkable contribution to the fields of medicine, music, painting and forensics.
