Shia LaBeouf Confirmed as "Indiana Jones" Junior

According to one of Slate Magazine’s sources, it’s a done deal: Shia LaBeouf IS on board to play the heroic archaeologist’s son in "Indiana Jones 4."

Slate doesn’t reveal its very reliable source, but the publication certainly isn’t known as a gossip rag, so I’ve no problem accepting the scoop — but obviously we’ll all want some confirmation from George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, or the magical movie-making wizards over at Paramount Pictures.

LaBeouf in "Transformers"

In case you hadn’t noticed the past year has been pretty darn big for the young Mr. LaBeouf. He’s got the thriller "Disturbia" coming out soon, he’s a featured player in Michael Bay‘s "Transformers," and now this Indiana Jones gig! Kinda makes you forget he was in "Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle."
