Do you even have to know the plot? It’s the ninth collaboration between Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro. Period.
According to Deadline Hollywood Daily, Scorsese and De Niro will reunite for a flick called "Frankie Machine." Bobby D. will be playing a retired hit-man. Based on the book by Tom Winslow, the adaptation will come from the writing team of Brian Koppelman and David Levien. (You’ll remember them from "Rounders," "Runaway Jury," and "Ocean’s 13.")
And before you click on the source link for a little more info, I’ll ask you this: How many of the eight Scorsese / De Niro movies can you name? (Two hints: There’s eight of ’em and one is obviously "Goodfellas." Other real easy ones: "Taxi Driver" and "Raging Bull.")
