The "Tomb Raider" movies had Angelina Jolie. The "Resident Evil" movies had Milla Jovovich. And now the "Silent Hill" movie has Radha Mitchell. Based on the popular video game series, "Silent Hill" was adapted into screenplay form by Roger Avary ("Pulp Fiction," "The Rules of Attraction") and will be directed by French filmmaker Christophe Gans ("Brotherhood of the Wolf"). Aussie actress Radha Mitchell is probably best known for her work in "Phone Booth" and "Pitch Black," and she can currently be seen in Woody Allen‘s "Melinda and Melinda." Production on "Silent Hill" starts this week in Toronto … so it’s probably a good thing they finally hired a lead actor.
