The 2019 Oscar nominees were announced Tuesday morning by actors Kumail Nanjiani and Tracee Ellis Ross, and the race for gold at the Academy Awards is officially on. Roma and The Favourite lead the pack with 10 nominations each, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. A Star is Born and Vice followed with eight nominations each, and Black Panther made history with seven nominations, including Best Picture — a first for a superhero movie.
