New on Amazon in August 2021

Modern Love season 2, critically-acclaimed films Annette and Val, and the first season of S.O.Z. Soldiers or Zombies are four of the new titles you can find on Amazon Prime Video in August.

August on Amazon Prime Video brings several high-profile original film releases, a new season of anthology series Modern Love, Spanish-language horror series S.O.Z Soldiers or Zombies, and more.

Kicking off the month is Val Kilmer documentary Val, while August 20 brings Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard’s Cannes film Annette. Amazon is also the home outside of Japan for anticipated anime release Evangelion:3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time.

Other films arriving on the streaming service this month include Benedict Cumberbatch and Rachel Brosnahan’s Cold War spy thriller The Courier, plus classics including Jaws, Fast Times At Ridgemont High and Hook.
