"Pet Sematary" director Mary Lambert will be directing a vampire/western combo for production company Treasure Entertainment, says The Hollywood Reporter. "High Midnight" marks the screenwriting debut of newcomer Denis Faye.
"The story, by first-timer Faye, centers on a broken-down sheriff who is forced to team up with an obsessed Victorian vampire hunter in order to stop an evil, undead force from consuming a frontier town in 1892 New Mexico."
In addition to both "Pet Sematary" movies, Ms. Lambert was also behind the cameras for "Siesta," "The In Crowd," and "Urban Legends: Bloody Mary."
