Laura Linney Joins Gabriel Byrne in Jindabyne

Laura Linney is joining Gabriel Byrne, Deborra-Lee Furness, John Howard, and Leah Purcell in "Jindabyne," an adaptation of Raymond Carver’s short story, Variety reports. Set in Australia, "Jindabyne" is about how the discovery of a Aborigine girl’s body by a group of fishing buddies and their subsequent actions affect their relationships. Raymond Lawrence is set to direct. Laura Linney can currently be seen in the bio pic Kinsey, which is playing in select theaters.
