The Hollywood Reporter brings news that should steam up a few monitors this morning: Jennifer Garner is expected to sign on for Touchstone’s "Sabbatical," which is being described as an "erotic thriller" with a rather saucy premise.
"The story follows a couple that hits the doldrums in their seventh year of marriage. To inject some life into their union, they decide to take a two-week sabbatical from each other during which, within a set of rules, they can do whatever they want. When the wife returns to the agreed-upon meeting place two weeks later, however, she discovers that her husband has disappeared."
A writer and director have yet to be hired; The story concept sprung from the mind of producer Chuck Weinstock.
