Gina Torres stars as Jessica Pearson, who’s shaking up the Chicago mayor’s office with her hard-charging, win-at-all-costs style. Jessica shows off her masterful manipulation skills in a moment with ambitious city attorney Keri Allen (Bethany Joy Lenz), who serves as unofficial right hand to the new mayor.
About the series: Recently disbarred New York City powerhouse attorney Jessica Pearson retreats to Chicago and joins the politics game as Mayor Bobby Novak’s (Morgan Spector) “fixer.” In this new role, she is torn between gunning for the win and doing the right thing. The cast also includes: Lenz (One Tree Hill), Simon Kassianides (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Eli Goree (Riverdale), Isabel Arraiza (The Oath), and Chantel Riley (Wynonna Earp).
The summer ensemble drama hails from UCP. Executive producers include Suits creator and executive producer Aaron Korsh, showrunner Daniel Arkin, and Doug Liman, David Bartis, and Gene Klein of Hypnotic (Suits, Nightflyers, Impulse).
Pearson premieres Wednesday, July 17 at 10 p.m. on USA Network.
