Geeky goodness, thy name is WonderCon.

With WonderCon 2008 in full swing over the weekend, news has been flying fast and furious regarding some of Hollywood’s most geek-friendly films — such as a certain Jon Favreau-directed film depicting a man in a flying, villain-whooping suit of armor.

We’re talking about Iron Man, of course, and WonderCon provided an opportunity for Favreau — who has proven himself to be one of the most fan-friendly directors in the business — to deliver the goods one more time. No, he didn’t show the latest trailer; those 90 seconds of footage won’t appear until the next episode of Lost airs on Thursday. But he did unveil the latest poster, which shows the Iron Man armor in its three stages of evolution. Screen Rant was the first site to bring the poster to the Web, so head on over there to have a look — you won’t be sorry.

Meanwhile, the gang at SuperheroHype was able to snag a few minutes of Favreau’s time, and he was kind enough to sit down for a chat about Iron Man in advance of its May 2 release. To hear the full-length interview, follow the second link below!
