Farrell Upset With Alexander Critics

by | November 30, 2004 | Comments

Colin Farrell is upset with the negative reviews of the Oliver Stone-directed "Alexander." He claimed in an interview with the Toronto Sun that many have an element of a "witchhunt." Farrell also said he took the reviews personally because of the extensive effort he put into his performance. He feels that Stone’s work is an easy critical target because of his risk-taking, and that some critics are predisposed to dislike his movies. The film, now playing in theaters, is a biography of Alexander the Great — his rise to power and the ultimate decline of his empire.
