The Hollywood Reporter informs us that Jonathan Liebesman ("Darkness Falls") has been tapped by Michael Bay‘s Platinum Dunes shingle to direct a prequel to their "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake.
Screenwriters Sheldon Turner ("The Longest Yard") and David Schow ("Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3") have managed to bang out an origin story that New Line likes, so you can expect this prequel project to start production before the end of the year. More "buzz" to come…
