Antonio Banderas will put on his dancing shoes for "Take the Lead," according to Production Weekly. Banderas will play a former professional ballroom dancer who volunteers to teach in the New York high school system. However, his students are more interested in hip-hop instead of his more traditional form of dancing. So they team up and create a new style of dance. The movie will be directed by Liz Friedlander and is inspired by a true story about international ballroom dancer Pierre Dulane. Banderas can be seen starring opposite Catherine Zeta-Jones in "The Legend of Zorro," in theaters September 23rd.
