ABC and Lifetime Lead the NAACP Image Award Nominees

The nominees for the 46th NAACP Image Awards, which recognizes outstanding artistic achievements by people of color, were announced Tuesday at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, CA.

ABC led the TV categories with a total of 25 nominations, while Lifetime and BET snagged 16 and 14 nominations respectively. See the full list of nominees for television, music, literature, film, and social justice here. TV and movie nomination highlights are below.

Winners will be announced Friday, February 6 at 9:00 pm on TV ONE.
