Over the past few weeks, Rob Zombie has announced a whole bunch of cast members from his upcoming "Halloween" remake, and here’s (maybe) the weirdest one: Danielle Harris, who (as a kid) appeared in two successive Myers sequels, will be popping up in Zombie’s "Halloween."
According to JoBlo (and Bloody-Disgusting & Zombie’s own MySpace page), Ms. Harris will be playing hottie babyistter Annie Brackett (a character played by Nancy Loomis in the original film), and get this: The casting report indicated that "nudity" was involved. Good thing Ms. Harris ("Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers" & "Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers") grew up into quite the little cutie.
In addition to Ms. Harris, Zombie’s "Hallowen" re-do will also star Malcolm McDowell, Tyler Mane, Dee Wallace-Stone, Danny Trejo, Ken Foree, William Forsythe, and Sheri Moon Zombie. The release date of August 31st seems a little weird at first … until you realize that the DVD will then be able to pop up by late October.
Far as I can tell, the lead character of Laurie Strode (as previously played by Jamie Lee Curtis) has not been cast yet. Or it probably has, but Zombie’s holding that one for a special announcement.
