Part 5 of Twin Peaks: The Return on Sunday night brought back some fan favorites from the original series that fans celebrated on social media. Here are five moments that got major reactions.

1. BOB Is Still With Us

Incarcerated Dirty Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) looks into the mirror and flashes back to the BOB’s original hostile takeover, then in a disturbing face-possession mash-up acknowledges that BOB is still with him. Shudder.

Meanwhile, dopplegänger Dougie continues shuffling through life — going to work, drinking coffee, making enemies.

2. Shelly and Norma Together Again

Two of the most glamorous diner waitresses alive — Shelly (Mädchen Amick) and Norma (Peggy Lipton) — stirred up some fan love.

3. Amanda Seyfried

Vocal viewers on social media are invested in new addition Amanda Seyfried (Les Misérables) as Shelly’s daughter, Becky, but hugely skeptical about her husband Steven — maybe remembering actor Caleb Landry Jones from Get Out and thinking, Run, girl! Run!

4. Dr. Amp’s Shovel

Dr. Lawrence Jacoby’s (Russ Tamblyn) animated alter ego, Dr. Amp, pumped up more than a few people, who were eager to buy what he was selling.

5. The Bang Bang Bar Scene

Eamon Farren’s violent Richard Horne in The Bang Bang Bar unsettled some — what others might call a mission accomplished.

Still, everyone seemed to universally like the bar’s musical lineup.
