Matthew Vaughn Is the Man in U.N.C.L.E. Update

Director Matthew Vaughn is in negotiations to direct the big-screen adaptation of the 1960s espionage show "The Man From U.N.C.L.E," according to the Hollywood Reporter. John Davis and Basil Iwanyk are producing the film for Warner Bros. Vaugh, who produced Guy Ritchie’s "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels," has also directed the gangster flick "Layer Cake." The film is based upon the hit NBC show, which ran from 1964 to 1968, and starred Robert Vaughn and David McCallum.
