"G.I. Joe" Movie Still Alive, New Writers Hired

"Four Brothers" screenwriters David Elliot and Paul Lovett have signed on to write the live-action "G.I. Joe" movie for Paramount Pictures, IGN FilmForce has learned. According to their source, the movie will not go the comedic route as rumors suggested. "Four Brothers" is drama, starring Mark Wahlberg, about brothers reuniting to avenge their mother’s death.
