This is how Wikipedia describes the Marvel character Galactus: "Sometimes called the Devourer of Worlds or Ravager of Planets, Galactus is an enormously powerful being who must "feed" on the energy of planets to survive." Neat. And apparently this big lug will be making an appearance in "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer."
Yep, as if a movie stocked with rock-men, stretchy-guys, flame-dudes, inviso-chicks, masked lunatics and interstellar surfboarders wasn’t already packing enough craziness, this planet devourer fella is set to make an appearance in the "Fantastic Four" sequel. [Ed. note: The Galactus appearance was previously confirmed here; director Story’s blog now elaborates on the still-developing status of the character.]
(Off-topic for a sec: Am I crazy or is the "FF2" teaser trailer better than the entire first movie? OK, I’m not crazy.)
Director Tim Story recently spilled the geeky beans over at his MySpace blog, which gives all the nerds (including me) another good reason to check out the superhero sequel come June 15th.
Story also mentions the further exploration of Dr. Doom in "Silver Surfer": "Doom? Oh he’s coming. Just wait. Classic look! And we definitely touch on his roots in the film."
