Alexandre Aja to Remake "The Hills Have Eyes"

Alexandre Aja will direct the remake of Wes Craven’s cult classic "The Hills Have Eyes," according to Production Weekly. He will direct from a script he co-wrote with Gregory Levasseur, with production beginning in April. The story is about a family who go on a cross-country trip, when their car breaks down in the New Mexico desert. They are then forced to defend themselves against hill people who were mutated by nuclear testing.
