During Monday’s upfronts presentations, Fox unveiled trailers for new series which they have added to their fall line-up, which includes five new dramas, two limited series, and four comedies.
First up is Gotham, the Batman prequel we glimpsed last week:
Another series getting buzz is Gracepoint, a 10-part mystery about a murdered boy, starring Breaking Bad‘s Anna Gunn:
Fox President Kevin Reilly says that Lorne Michaels’ new half-hour comedy Mulaney, with John Mulaney, Martin Short, Seaton Smith, and Nasim Pedrad, is “Seinfeld for a new generation:”
With Hieroglyph, Fox takes on ancient Egypt with a new action-adventure:
Created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, Empire stars Terrence Howard as the king of hip hop:
Wayward Pines is a 10-part mind-bender by M. Night Shyamalan with Matt Dillon starring as a Secret Service agent on a mission to find two missing federal agents:
From the creator of Bones, Backstrom is a comedic procedural with Rainn Wilson as Everett Backstrom, an irascible-yet-brilliant detective:
Also added to Fox’s fall lineup are the new animation Bordertown by Seth MacFarlane, the comedy Last Man on Earth starring Will Forte, the hospital drama Red Band Society produced by Steven Spielberg, and the comedy Weird Loners
