As an actor, Luke Goss has historically been a man of many sequels (Blade II, Hellboy II: The Golden Army), but for his next project, he’ll be joining a franchise on the ground floor.

ComingSoon reports (via Goss’ official site) that Goss has signed on to play Steve Fox in Crystal Sky Pictures’ forthcoming Tekken videogame adaptation. From the article:

Directed by Dwight Little, Tekken is a futuristic martial arts action film based on the best-selling Japanese video game from Namco. The film plays out as a science fiction story set in the near future, about a rebel who rises up against the Tekken Corp. to seize freedom for his people.

Before devoting himself full-time to acting, Goss was one-half of the popular ’80s pop duo Bros. Though largely ignored in the States, Bros notched 11 Top 40 singles in the UK between 1987 and 1991.
