According to Variety, Thomas "The Punisher" Jane will star in Edward Pressman‘s movie version of the popular role-playing game "The Mutant Chronicles."
"Project is finally moving ahead after having been in development under Pressman for a decade. Voltage Pictures recently signed on as pic’s foreign sales reprep at the recent American Film Market.
Story is set in the 23rd century, in which four giant corporations have pillaged the last of the planet’s resources, causing a demonic, marauding army of underworld NecroMutants to wage war against humans for what remains. Jane will play a battle-weary Marine who leads a squad of soldiers against the alien hordes.
Simon Hunter will helm "Mutant" from a screenplay he penned with Ross Jameson."
