Happy Valentine’s Day! As many of you prepare to wow your better halves with fantastic displays of affection, you may also be looking for a snuggle-worthy romantic comedy to watch. With that in mind, we here at Rotten Tomatoes decided to poll our audience to see who everyone thought should be considered the King of Rom-Coms. We put together a list of 20 leading men from romantic comedies and asked you to vote one of them to the top, and the winner is… Hugh Grant!

Frankly, we expected a few other names to bubble up to the top — Tom Hanks, or Richard Gere, or even the legendary Cary Grant — but no. None of them even came close to Hughie G., who racked up a whopping 38% of the vote. The next highest vote-getter, Tom Hanks, only managed 13%. So it was pure domination for the star of Two Weeks NoticeLove ActuallyMusic and LyricsBridget Jones’s DiaryAbout a Boy, and of course, Notting Hill. See below for the full results of the poll, and click the link below to see who was crowned the Queen of the Rom-Coms.
