The Best Netflix Series to Watch Right Now

Looking for the best shows on Netflix? Look no further, because Rotten Tomatoes has put together a list of the streaming service’s best original series available to watch right now, ranked according to the Tomatometer.

Looking for an ’80s genre throwback? Stranger Things is your show. A sci-fi anthology that’ll make you think about the complexities of modern life? Then you’ll want to check out Black Mirror. A series about complicated women that also comments on the U.S. prison system? Try Orange Is the New Black. And if you’re looking for a Fresh comic book adaptation, then The Umbrella Academy is for you. (And so are the service’s now-cancelled Marvel series, including Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Punisher.)

To be included in our list of the best of Netflix shows, titles must be Fresh (60% or higher) and have at least ten reviews. Netflix films that opened in fewer than 100 theatrical screens were included. Ties were decided by the number of reviews on each title, and then alphabetically where the number of reviews were the same. Additionally, series that were saved by the streaming service but did not originate on Netflix are included if the series meets the existing criteria.

Is your favorite Netflix title missing? Tell us in the comments. Looking for a movie instead? Check out our list of the best Netflix movies here.

Added (8/26): Wu Assassins, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
