It opened in limited release just a few short months ago, and now the French comedy "Apres Vouz" ("After You") has been optioned by Warner Bros., and they plan to remake it into something starring Billy Crystal.

The story "revolves around a headwaiter of a Paris bistro who happens upon a stranger who is about to commit suicide. After intervening, the waiter befriends the saved man — who promptly turns the waiter’s life upside down."

Producer Art Linson will be calling the shots on this project, which means all he has to do now is hire a writer and a director — and then go rent a copy of "Apres Vouz."
