"Star Wars III" Will Open Cannes

There will be a disturbance in the Force in this year’s Cannes Film Festival. According to This is London, "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith" will open this year’s festival in May, after months of negotiations between George Lucas and the festival officials. Russell Crowe‘s "Cinderella Man" will show out-of-competition, and Ang Lee‘s "Brokeback Mountain" is also rumored to be screened. "Revenge of the Sith" stars Hayden Christensen, Natalie Portman, and Ewan McGregor and will open in theaters May 19th.
