Samuel L. Jackson Rocks the Cradle

Once you’ve co-starred in an action “comedy” with Eugene Levy, the only way to go is up — or so you’d think. Samuel L. Jackson, apparently, has other ideas.

Variety reports that Jackson’s Uppity Films has cemented its first picture deal with New Line, and it’s a doozy. Titled Man That Rocks the Cradle, the Josh Cagan-scripted comedy will…well, let’s just use the article’s synopsis:

“Man That Rocks the Cradle” revolves around an overworked husband and father of four who decides the solution to all his problems is a live-in nanny. Jackson will play the nanny, Marion Delacroix, a reputed “kid whisperer” from the South.

Kinda makes you want to call the Post Office to find out if Sam’s mail has been getting mixed up with Billy Bob Thornton‘s, doesn’t it?
