The Walking Dead: Season 4

AMC’s runaway hit series about a group of people trying to survive after the world has become overrun by zombies is back for a fourth season, and the critics are already liking what they see. In the season premiere, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the gang are adjusting to life with more survivors inside the prison.

Betrayal: Season 1

Plagued by a predictable story, lackluster writing, and uninspired acting, critics say Betrayal is far less compelling — even as a guilty pleasure — than it ought to be. Tonight, Drew (Chris J. Johnson) has a confrontation with Jack (Stuart Townsend) in the courtroom.

Boardwalk Empire: Season 4

Eastbound & Down: Season 4

Wild-and-crazy relief pitcher Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) has settled down and become a suburban family man. But is this former hell-raiser getting a little stir crazy? Tonight, Kenny takes the family to a water park, and caps off the trip with a night of partying.

Hello Ladies: Season 1

Masters of Sex: Season 1

Revenge: Season 3

As the title indicates, Emily VanCamp (Emily Thorne) is still out for revenge. In tonight’s episode, Conrad contemplates his mortality and comes to some meaningful conclusions, while a confrontation erupts when Nolan receives a surprise guest at his housewarming party.

Witches of East End: Season 1

Although it’s ridiculously soapy, Witches of East End is often campy fun; it’s a supernatural spectacle that’s entertaining despite its silliness. On tonight’s episode, Ingrid (Rachel Boston) uses some recently unearthed family heirlooms to fend off Freya’s (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) malevolent ex from a previous lifetime.
