I was among the initially-skeptical and eventually-impressed who actually really liked Marcus Nispel‘s "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake. Do I think it’s even remotely as effective as Tobe Hooper‘s original? Heck no, but it was a pretty intense horror flick all the same. And now that I’m freshly skeptical for the upcoming prequel…

Directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Darkness Falls," hence my skepticism) and starring Jordana Brewster, Taylor Handley, Matthew Bomer, and Diora Baird. Oh, and of course: R. Lee Ermey and Andrew Bryniarski.
