Peter Jackson to Roll the Bones

"Lord of the Rings" director Peter Jackson will tackle Alice Sebold’s novel "The Lovely Bones" with co-writer Philippa Boyans, according to Ain’t It Cool News. The project will be undertaken after Jackson finishes work on "King Kong." The story involves a woman who has been raped and murdered, and who observes her family and friends from heaven as they deal with the aftermath of her death.
