The Hollywood Reporter informs us that likable lug Luke Wilson ("The Wendell Baker Story") is in final negotiations to star in Ivan Reitman‘s "Super Ex." Former "Simpsons" scribe Don Payne pitched the concept, and "the story centers on a man who finds out that the woman he is dating is a superhero; she decides to use her powers against him after he breaks up with her for being too controlling and neurotic."

The film will mark Reitman’s first directorial gig since 2001’s "Evolution" — his previous films include "Ghostbusters," "Stripes," and "Meatballs."
