Is "The Dark Knight" Going to China?

Big fan of location scouting? Then you’re gonna love this: Apparently the folks preparing "The Dark Knight" for its January shoot have been looking into Hong Kong as a possible location. Hey, cool. Just start making the movie already.

From IGN FilmForce: "While it is known that The Dark Knight will, like its predecessor, be filmed in England, word has it that director Christopher Nolan and company are also scouting locations in Hong Kong.

Batman-on-Film.com looked into the China rumors and reports that "there are some rumblings it may be true." The site adds that while they "don’t believe that part of the story takes place in Hong Kong, but whatever (shoot) there would substitute for some part of Gotham (or it could be part of a flashback)."
