Frank Miller Wants to Get Rolling on "Sin City 2"

If author / artist / filmmaker Frank Miller is to be believed (and why wouldn’t he be?), the "Sin City" sequel will begin shooting before the summer. Awesome.

According to Mr. Miller, the screenplay (which will be a combination of "A Dame to Kill For," a few older stories, and one new one) is almost completely finished, and the casting is already underway. He expects that he and Robert Rodriguez will get rolling in Austin before the end of spring! Bring it on!

As you probably know, Mr. Rodriguez has been hard at work on his half of "Grindhouse," but with those pesky "Spy Kids" out of the way (forever), he’s now clear to just stick with the grown-up stuff. And I’m assuming "Sin City 2" will be full-bore "grown-up stuff" all the way.
