This art comes from the personal collection of Marc Davis, the main animator for Cruella, and one of the legendary “Nine Old Men,” the core animation team at Walt Disney Studios. Animators spend a lot of time sketching characters before they settle on final designs, and that’s exactly what these images are. Davis made these sketches to explore the color palette and wardrobe for Cruella, and his estate been kind enough to share them with RT.
