Cusack Signs "Contract"

John Cusack will star with Morgan Freeman in "The Contract," Variety reports. The film, to be directed by Beresford, is budgeted at $37M and will be produced for Millennium Films. The plot involves a family outing that goes awry when a hitman crosses paths with the family. Cusack stars in the forthcoming "Must Love Dogs" and "The Ice Harvest;" Freeman stars in the forthcoming "Lucky Number Slevin" and "Edison."
