Some of the Academy Award nominees in the crafts categories are upset over Oscar show producer Gil Cates’ plan to switch up some of the statue presentations, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Those in the more technical categories feel the presentation will marginalize their efforts. For some categories, all the nominees will stand on stage, and the winner will step forward to accept the award; for others, the nominees will be presented with their awards while they are seated in the audience, and the nominees for specific categories will be grouped together.
